FanSpace is an application developed by Gydget for MySpace. FanSpace allows artists with gydgets to further extend their reach on social networking platforms by making it easier for fans to add gydgets to their pages and share them with friends.

Now fans can grab all their favorite artist gydgets and put them in one space on their page. Using the top scroller, fans can navigate through their favorite artist widgets to see videos, hear music and more. Friends can see who is in their friend's collection of favorite artists and explore their widgets.

Fan interaction with the gydgets will be incorporated into the friend feed feature of MySpace. When a fan grabs your gydget, all their friends will see it in their feed. In the future, any updates to the gydgets will also appear in the feeds.

If you haven't already created your gydget, do it today. Once you have finished, you should install FanSpace. Installing FanSpace to your artist page gives you the benefit of allowing fans to link out (to buy merch, tickets, music, etc.) without clicking 'go'. If you add FanSpace and don't want to show other artists in the top scroller, go to your MySpace home view, click on the FanSpace application and uncheck the box that says 'show band selector.' Fans can grab it in just a couple of clicks, and start spreading the word.
